Clear Thinking

Clear ThinkingThe aspects of minimalism that most people will think of first concern physical, tangible objects. However, the aspect of minimalism that should be addressed first and foremost is that of clear thinking.

Clearing one’s mind of the confusion, clutter, stress and so on will bring about a peaceful lifestyle. Without clearing the mind, taking action steps in the world of minimalism would be difficult. The lifestyle that most minimalists strive for is of peace. However, removing stuff from one’s life is great and a big part of minimalism, but if the mind is not able to focus on the important ideas because one is still dwelling over the stuff they had or the stuff they desire, then taking the final leap to be a minimalist is tough to achieve.

To implement clear thinking, try the following:

* Sit in a zen-like place and breathe in and out deeply.
* Take short, re-energizing naps frequently.
* When an issue arises, ask yourself if stress really matters.
* Workout alone

These four tips will not make you a minimalist as soon as completing them. However, they will assist in clearing the worries and stress we all allow to overtake our emotions and productive nature.

Have a good one….
